Got GDF today. It's one hell of a great game. For a budget title it's surprisingly well polished. I've got to level six so far (an hour in). It's also very addictive. I recommend it to any PS2 owner. :)

Glad that you like it, I'm at level 71 (final) on normal with the pale wing. I've got around 30 hours on the clock!

I've tried inferno but it is so hard and crazy!

An excellent game all round

I haven't been back to the PS2 in a while (playing PC games mainly) but with my new addition to the collection (Tomb Raider: Anniversary) I have.

It was a bargain for £11.95 (Collectors Edition) new. The DVD that came with it was interesting and the soundtrack is enjoyable, too. :)

Edit: I might also add that it's just as bloody frustrating in both camera angles and controls as the original; not sure whether that's a good thing or not... ;D

For starters it's for sale here: http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation2/4....ce/Product.html

Also I have it. It's kinda old skool in its playing style. Has 3d graphics - google it for vids. Very addictive and fun. As it's a budget title it doesn't look as polished as many PS2 games. Also it doesn't have a 60Hz option so is bordered - which you wont even think about after playing it for five mins. Oh, it's speed optimised so is as fast as the Japanese version.

You can play as either one of the two characters (which have different weapons etc), can even change them around each level. The levels are challenging - shooting giant ants, spiders etc is just...cool. Also can blow other shit up like Big Ben in London.

Worth a tenner of anybodies money. :)

Bought Rogue Galaxy (Factor 5 - JRPG) used for £3.99 today. Only thing missing is the manual. Another bargain from Dudley (Cash Generators). :D

Dropping of some goods to one of our shops this afternoon and I spotted a real bargain in there; PES 08 for the PS2 (in mint condition) and it only cost my 74p. Can't complain for that price.

I know it generally got slatted but for it isn't too bad if truth be told.

Good ol'marvalman recommended a little gem called Gadget Racers which came out quite a few years back. It's basically an arcade racer but harder. Requires some skill to master the handling. Tis only a budget game but can be quite addictive. I bought it new (came today) from Play.com (Playtrade) for £3.60.

NB: Not to confused with the US version of the same name as that is, oddly, the prequel game. Also available on thr GC.
