bumped into this the other day and it looks fantastic, its a free PC fan game combining the best elements of all 3 SORs. I havent had the chance to play it yet(laptop is acting up, Not related to this) but i can't wait too. anyone here tried it?

Sounds mental. There are loads of great Sega IPs that could do with an update.

Altered beast has been resurected, golden axe also but i still haven't played them.
A shame that the sequel to nights into dreams is a dissapointment on the Wii but the PS2 remake is very good i believe.

well lads, if ye havent downloaded this yet, you aint a SOR fan :) serciously, for a fan made game, its really amazing. some dodgy AI(wrestler, flying characters and the robots not as dangerous anymore) in places but as a whole, a terrific homage to a great series. well worth the download. Mania difficulty is nuts!!

I did play a SOR style game made for the Dreamcast which was homebrew. I still have it here somewhere, but I'm busy recompleting NFS: Carbon on the Gamecube right now.
I also now have a C64 emulator for my laptop :)
