very bad news, suzuki is retiring from his role at sega, he will be still working on a reduced capcity but it reduces whatever small chance Shenmue had of a third release.

Waited so long now don't even care about Shenmue anymore and Sega would just ruin it now anyway as they are such a shite company :o

do Sega hold all the rights to Shenmue? Maybe now hes left there is MORE chance Shenmue 3 will come out? Tho I doubt it.

i highly doubt it, zeppy. its his baby and now that he has a role with the Amusements R+D(arcades are f**ked, why move him there...), there is no chance. extremely disappointing. this game has probably already been made twice over for the dreamcast and saturn, its painful.

a small extra word on this, ryo hazuki is making an appearence in sega's forthcoming Sega all-stars racing. ill probably fecking buy it just to see him on our console again and dream of shenmue 3. sad eh?
